I stuck my arm and head outside to get the mail and burst into flames; it is just so ridiculously hot! We do love to complain about the weather around here but this just borders on the insane. Try explaining to a 2 year old that we can’t go “outshide” because we might spontaneously combust.
Can’t wait for fall.

Today is one of those lovely Autumn days;bright sunshine and slightly warm,perfect weather for exploring. While examining the remains of the garden, we found a ladybug on a flower stem, and Little Guy was just thrilled! He managed to pick it up, and laughed and laughed as it walked from finger to finger. I wish I’d had my camera to capture the joy on his face, but this moment like so many others will just have to live in my memory. It was just a lovely slice of time.
