It was Pirate Weekend at the Maryland Renaissance Festival

We made a pirate ship. It was the hit of the faire-we had so so so many comments about it! Lots of people wanted to take a picture of our Little Pirate. He didn’t always smile, but he looks cute anyway. P is used to getting attention when we go for his chainmaille-in this case, cardboard trumps metal. Hardly anyone commented on his shirt/coif!

The ship was fun to make-my design, P’s doing, and Nor’s engineering expertise in the construction. It will definitely resurface for Halloween!
